Hi!! in 2010/12 I got married and wanted to change my son's surname as he was born out of wedlock. I then fill forms, after 6months they told me that my son is not registered undermy name i.e as per their system I dont have a child. I then went to the hospital for a proof and gave the clinic card as well as hi birth certificate.
The sad part is that they dont tell me the name of the woman he is registered under. I applied for unabridged certificate and I received it and my question was " How can the give me the certificate if the child is not mine, or if I stol the child as one of the tell said maybe I the child". I opened a case on the branch and they never got back to me, I then phoned the number thats on their wall for complaints and the guy asked me to sms the ID number i.e mine and my sons'.Till today I have not receive any feedback and when I do follow up they keep on asking me to feel forms i.e starting from scratch. Please help, I want my son to be registered under my name and use his father's surname.
