I contacted Tshwane Town Council on the 31/7/2013 confirming with Mogodi that the outstanding amount on my account of R806.50 was due for payment at the end of August 2013. She gave me a ref no 7000099472. She confirmed that my water/electr would not be cut as long as this is paid by end of August. Yet my water was cut afterhours on Wednesday 28/8/2013 and the notice of disconnection was just left on the sidewalk in the street. This was not even left in my postbox or in gate or under front door or hand delivered or given to caretaker as per what their form indicate they will deliver. Conveniently the Inspector just didn't fill in his name!!! I paid the amount in full as per Tshwane's notice of R806.49 on Thursday morning 29/8/2013 in cash. Yet on Friday Morning, Komoto at the Credit Control/reconnections department confirmed that no payment was received or even reflected on their system and my water cannot be recconected as yet. How ironic as there are big notices in Tshwane's office commiting that reconnections will not take longer than 48hrs. Just another that Tshwane tell after they take your money and are just not interested in actually delivering a SERVICE!!!
