Useless service and BAD attitude

I purchased a house over a year ago. Being a citizen that wants to pay for services rendered as well as rates, etc. I went into my local municipal office and registered my property purchase as well as opened a new account. I have since called the City of JHB call center around 8 times since last year to find out when I will get my rates account number and statement (amount owing). Every time I'm told that it's still being processed and to call back in 4 to 6 weeks. So today I called the call center again to find out. Absolutely useless... no knowledge about anything. The agent that I spoke to had no clueof how to use the system and was asking me for my ERF number (who has this type of info on hand and uses this to confirm who you are?). They are so incompetent that I cannot even get an estimate of when this will be done. When asking the call-centre agent what his supervisors name was, he put the phone down on me. Rude, uncourteous, as well as shouting at me and then the City of Johannesburg has the nerve to expect me to pay in full and on time! I think, as they made me wait, I'll make them wait over a year for their payment. Lets see what my "go for the throat" lawyer has to say...
