A strange man called the call center and he was answered by a vodacom agent by the name of boitumelo and this man called himself sabelo. and he requested to do a sim swap on my other number that i do my cellphone banking on. the number was 0797651783 and this number belongs to me, a woman but the agent didnt question that. i realised my sim card was not working on sunday afternoon when i was trying to make a call, then i had to phone the call center and spoke to an agent who told me my sim card was swapped the night before!! and as a result of this negligence by vodacom my bank account from capitec was hacked and an amount of 9400 was . and i contacted vodacom again after 3 days of not having gotten no reference number for my complaint as promised and thats when i found the supervisor who said her name was tsakane moleko in johannesburg and she said she would listen to the call which she did as promised and told me that the guy who called to make the simswap said his name was sabelo and the agent was boitumelo and he got all the security questions right! how this is possible i have no idea because i myself the owner of the simcard did not remember the info so they not liable
