I had two tax numbers and subsequently after numerous request the one was de-registered. I was obviously submitting my returns annually on the one tax number which was just de-registered. Now I got a letter stating I owe sars r2k for 2011 for which I submitted my returns under the old tax number 1374093167 in 2011. I requested that all my returns be transfered to the correct tax number 2232864153 in order for me not to be incorrectly billed. obliviously this wasn't done and I'm left owing sars for the very same year they refunded me r1k.
