Unabridged Birth Certificate

I have been trying to obtain an Unabridged Birth Certificate for my daughter since her birth in January 2013. Numerous calls to the contact centre, the same response "it is being processed, call back in 2-3 weeks. This continued until late May, when I received a text to say that I needed to re-apply as initial application had been lost. When I managed to contact a Call Centre supervisor, who informed me to have them couriered from my local home affairs in Durban, which I did. These forms were received and signed... again after 3 weeks, nothing. Then I got put through to an extremely helpful Nathan, whom took responsibility and after some quick investigating told me that the application had once again been lost. Through Nathan's initiative and great attitude, he made a plan, kept me informed and within a week of first contact with him, I sit here with my daughter's unabridged birth certificate!! It's great to know that there are still some people in government positions that have a passion to provide top service delivery. Thank you Nathan and your team, your efforts are greatly appreciated.
