I am a former employee of Tiger Brands. As we all know that Tiger Brands falls under Smollan. Which means when you leave the company your pension forms needs to be forwarded to smollan for further approval and then it would be sent off to Alexander Forbes. So I've been waiting for nearly two months now and the process takes 4-6 weeks I was told. I emailed Sandiso Dekile she tells me that Nothing was sent through, I then send her proof that it was indeed sent through from Tiger Brands Hr, she doesn't respond. I take it upon myself to call Smollan, some lady picks up who seems to be working as Sandiso's pa. I ask her to put me through to Sandiso she then Drops the call in my ear. I call back the second time wanting to lay a complaint she tells me no the call wasn't dropped. It apparently happens on that platform. She then politely suggests to take my employee number, name and surname & phone number and get Sandiso to call me back, but she couldn't have done that in the first place. I first had to call back another time and be on hold for about 45mins. This is soo frustrating because when calling you get treated with so much disrespect. You can even hear in their voice that they are not planning on helping you. I mean this is their job, they knew when accepting this job they'd be dealing with calls and trying to problem solve. It's disgusting actually. Please do something about this.
