I received my company's September telephone bill and saw that I was charged a whopping R552.00 for a contract. We enquired about it and was told that it's to have the company's email address and website listed in the phonebook. In fact, I recall that it's included in the normal fee and it's extra if you want to be listed on their online site. I told them that I can't remember the telemarketer telling me about the extra cost and, after checking the phonebook, I saw that our website address was wrong in any case.
I have sent multiple emails to their customer care and made a few phonecalls but every time I was told that they're "busy with the enquiry".
I am at the point where I want to take legal action because R552.00 may not seem like much but at this stage, it's a small fortune to our company.
I am tired of wasting my time trying to get some kind of response about this.
