A company called Trudon called earlier this year to check our companies details. After confirming them we were given a cost to appear in yellow pages, white pages and online. We declined all except the white pages. Telkom took it upon themselves to bill us for this service. It is, however, not the amount stated telephonically and includes a charge for yellow pages. Numerous attempts to resolve this have included - telephone conversations with Telkom customer care, Trudon consultants (including playbacks of recordings which are indistinct), emails and contact through the Telkom Facebook page.
Telkom keeps hiding behind the excuse that Trudon is responsible, but frankly I don't care as the service is being charged by Telkom. We have now taken the decision to deduct this amount that appears on our monthly bill. I cannot spend anymore time on this. I have had absolutely zero responses to my many mails in which all interested parties are 'cc'ed.
