I responded to wonderful Disney book club marketing in April of this year. The offering states as on this page [URL Removed] that when you join you receive 2 free books as gifts along with other gifts with your first books. I never subscribe to goods online for fear of being billed for things I dont recieve or shoddy quality, which is exactly what happened. 2 months later I received 2 books which were terribly outdated titles (dumbo and alladin, which I had bought for my first child 10 years ago already) I did query this, and asked to stop my subscription as I was not happy with the cost attached to this calibre of product and service. They cancelled my subscription, but said that another package was on the way. I agreed that if I received the products originally committed to, I would pay that up and that would be the end of it. 1 month later I received a bill for R540, a month after that I received notice that a package had arrived for me, and I decided to have it returned.
Upon communicating this, as well as the fact that since I had only ever received 2 books, surely they would be my 'free books'. Not so, they demand R164.93 for the 2 books.
