I cancelled my subscription with Jacklin Enterprises on 2nd October 2012 but have now received an sms & e-mail stating that if I do not pay R445.10 I will be black listed. I had made a final payment to them on 2nd October when I cancelled my subs. I did not receive any prior notification or accounts stating that I had money outstanding for books which they say they sent to me. I take exception to this as I manage my accounts myself and would have known if I received books or any accounts. I spent almost a half an hour on the telephone trying to find out why they sent me anything as I had cancelled my subscription & was given the run around being explained to how to go about tracking my number as if I am didn't know. I then decided to try another angle and ask her what the procedure is when one would like to cancel your subscription and she could not give me an answer either. I notice that there are reams and reams of complaints about similar problems with Jacklin Enterprises, & the answer people are given is always the same. Does nobody have a way of stopping these people? We are held to ransom by being billed & threatened with blacklisting for things which we do even want!!
