I would just like to extend my gratitude to ghd South Africa. Excellent communication and service received from your staff in the repairs department!
My ghd V Gold Professional Styler Max started to show some problems in the 23 month of its warranty. Frantically I looked for my box and slip for proof of purchase - since this was a gift from my sister as an Engagement present in 2011. I was unsure if it was still within the warranty period.
I found the box and the slip and contacted ghd SA. They immediately arranged for the collection of my faulty ghd. As soon as they received it I was notified of the problem and was told that they will be replacing it with a brand new one. However, they did not have any stock in SA at that moment. They ordered one from overseas. I was constantly kept in the loop of its whereabouts.
To my surprise this morning the courier company rang the doorbell and there it was - my BRAND NEW ghd V max Professional Styler! I cannot explain the excitement I felt when I saw the waybill and it was from ghd SA!
