5 GHD REPLACEMENTS IN TWO AND A HALF YEARS

I was given a purple ghd styler for my birthday in 2010, 9 months later after having taken utmost care with the expensive iron it started smoking and switching on and off. Under warranty it was sent in for repairs to Durban head office and a "brand new" pink one was sent back as all purple ones had been discontinued i was told.
Two months or so later the pink one would not heat up, still under warranty i sent it back to Durban head office where it was replaced with another "new" pink one. This pink one after almost a month would not switch on at all. After much complaints and research i requested a classic styler be sent as i was still under warranty and was unhappy with the limited edition ones breaking every few months. A classic ghd was then sent.
Now almost 9 months or so later after again treating the ghd like gold and looking after it i even ironed my hair once a week only to limit usage it has stopped heating up and switches on and off constantly. My warranty period is expired and refuse to pay for repairs as i am certain it will just stop working again.
I personally never recommend this product to anyone as is poor quality and very unreliable. very unsatisfied customer.
