Called AC Applicances to repair LG fridge on Tuesday after it was uncovered the fridge was no longer working properly. A call out fee of R250 was required and paid on arrival to check the fridge. Having identified the source of the problem, the damaged fan was removed and fridge switched off. It was confirmed that a new fan would be available next day and arrangements to return at 14:30 was agreed. The freezer at this time had frozen food and the little bits of items which could be refrigerated in it. According to the service agent (Kyle) this would be sufficient for a minimum of a day. Arrangements made to come earlier were agreed, this was later postponed due to "logistical factors". A revised time was agreed. When the time had lapsed, no phone call had been done to inform us of any delay or issue. A phone call originated from us, questioning where and when the fridge would be fixed only to be told the wrong part was ordered and needed to be re-ordered. Assurances to return early afternoon friday were noted. Early afternoon arrived and yet again no phone call advising us of any delay.
