My fridge door was not closing. Yoshin at Sandton appliances advised me that they could collect my fridge and give me a quote for repairs which would be more cost effective than having the fridge repaired on site. After 3 days I was called to say they could not repair the fault as it was "a design flaw" but had serviced the fridge and I now owed them R575. I did not request the fridge service and objected to the fact that I was not given a quote as they promised and was now expected to pay for a service I did not request while they are unable to fix the problem.
After aguing with Yoshin to no avail I requested that they return my fridge and was then told there was a R250 fee that needed to be paid COD or they would not return my fridge. I was also told that if I did not pay the R250 they would take the fridge away and I would then need to pay an additional R250 for its return.
What a disgusting attitude and terrible service. Do not use this company - they will take advantage and rip you off!
