Ever since I bought my E60 525 BMW new I've had one recurring problem, the radiator. BMW has changed my radiator 5 TIMES, excluding the original one, since new. They now refuse to take responsibility for poor parts. BMW is trying to bully me into accepting the cost of replacing the radiator when clearly the E60 radiators are faulty.
Its not even 11 months since radiator number 5 was replaced and its leaking again and they want ME to pay for it. BMW claims to offer a 2 year warranty on parts and workmanship, Well NONE of the radiators they put in the car lasted 2 years and its not even a year since the last one!
Coincidentally the same day i took it to Alberante in Feb 2013 there was another customer with an E60 525 complaining about the exact same thing. Clearly this problem is not isolated to my car. BMW should have recalled the E60 radiators. I am not prepared to pay for a part that they can see is faulty! Even their so called experts could not solve the problem now they want to shift the responsibility to me. My first car a Nissan Sentra that I bought 20 years ago still has the original radiator! E60 DRIVERS IF YOU'VE HAD TO REPLACE YOUR RADIATOR BMW KNOWS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM!
