We were by these unscrupulous people. We were advised by Budget Auto that we needed a new radiator & they would recondition it & our Jeep would run perfectly. Not even 2 months later the radiator started leaking & for 3 weeks Budget Auto tried in vain to repair this radiator that had apparently been fixed by them! One time they gave us the car back after they had apparently fixed the radiator we drove it 5kms & once again it was leaking!
After 3 weeks we were told by Allie & Akbar that the radiator is actually useless & we must get a new one & they refused to compensate us as per the Consumer Protection Act which states that any reconditioned part is guaranteed for 3 months & the customer should be either refunded, the part repaired (which they couldnt do) or replaced.
The worst is that they gave our Jeep, which was in perfect running condition besides the radiator leaking when we took it to them but after they had kept it for 3 days THE CAR WOULD NOT START & they had no explanation as to why! From only having a radiator problem my car is now COMPLETELY BROKEN by Budget Auto!!
We have not heard from them since last Tuesday when it happened. Even the police know about them
