I ordered 6 x smart watches from the USA, the package arrived and I noticed that it had been opened and sealed with masking tape.
I know that Customs sometimes inspect these items, so I was not immediately concerned. I paid my VAT and Customs fees (roughly 20% of the $500 value) and left the Post Office. On opening the package at work, I noticed that 4 of the 6 boxes containing the individual watches had been opened and where completely empty!!
Whoever opened my package 4 of the 6 watches I had paid for.
I returned to the Post Office where I reported this and was asked to fill out an inquiry form. I did so and was told the manager would call me later that day. I received a phone call from the lady who assisted me with the delivery (Pendi I think?), informing me that I need to return to the Post Office to write a report of the incident.
I hope to return tomorrow when I have some time.

I am completely disgusted at the level of criminality in the SA Post Office and I have no idea if I will ever be compensated for this of my property and the VAT & Customs I paid.
