On 16.01.14, my fiance sent a package for me via the counter to door service. On 17.01.14, the package was delivered with no contents inside, the driver left the package with the Mail Room Clerk. When I opened it to find it empty, I phoned the Company, was told only the sender can lodge a claim. My fiance went into Sunninghill to fill in the claim form and was told somebody will phone after 2 days. Nobody did. He followed up on 22.01.14, was told somebody will phone him back but still nobody did. I also followed up on 22.01.14, was told somebody will phone this morning, nobody did. I phoned myself and spoke to Walter in the claims Dept, he was full of attitude, did not have answers for me but rather told me he has other claims to deal with that were lodged before me, and my claim is number 45 in the queue. The claim will take 3 to 4 weeks to be resolved and am not guaranteed reimbursement, he also advised he will not deal with me but rather the sender. I asked what has been done with the claim so far, he said nothing, I must just wait. This was surely done by one of the employees and should be taken as a matter of urgency but to my utmost disgust I have been told to wait.
