My Package is nowhere to be found

I placed an order for a laptop bag from [URL Removed] on the 15th of July. The package was dispatched via the US mail. They claim that the package is still in transit since then and my supplier says that it takes 5 - 7 working days to arrive in SA. Well SAPO cannot find the tracking number and no one i have phoned can even pick up the tracking number. We are in week 3 now waiting for a delivery or even confirmation that i need to pick it up.

I have sent mails checked with speed services couriers and the international package people as well to no avail.

Who can give me any details to where the hold up is at? I bought this gift for my wife's 30th birthday tomorrow and now looks like its just lost. R1400 worth of goods just nowhere to be found.

Please give me a local tracking number for my goods as i only have the US tracking number still.
