UIF refusal

My Mother applied for illness benefits on line and submitted everything they requested, they refused it my mother was medically boarded from her services and is no longer working!! i don't understand as to why it was refused and why UIF can not help my mother, they take our money every month but when we really need help they cant help those in need, it is utter, I want an answer as to why it was rejected and on what grounds. My mother is extremely ill!!!
