Tata Automobile Corporation Sa
Unroadworthy Car sold as Roadworthy

Bought a Tata Indica 1.4 DLX Dci from Tata Gezina in May 2013 with 32000km on the odometer. Since purchasing the vehicle the following problems have been noted: smooth tyres (which I replaced & eventually received a refund 8 months later after continuous fighting), major oil leaks, mountings broken, gears grinding, steering rack loose, clutch failure (thrust bearing disintegrated), shuddering, fog lights not working, severe engine noise. Car has been backwards & forwards for repairs for the past 9 months with no resolution in sight. Car was sent for an AA test in Dec 2013 and failed. I was told by Greg that the car was repaired and I could collect it, only to find out that it had never been back for the AA follow-up (Greg told me it had been back). Car was sold to me with a Maintenance Plan & Warranty which were both cancelled without my knowledge. I became aware of it when I took the car in for repairs. The car was collected from me on 9/12014 for Tata to repair (AGAIN) & I have not even been offered a loan vehicle to enable me to take my children to school - they have to be transported in a 2-seater bakkie!!! This is the 5th time the car has gone in for the same problems!
