My mother has been off from work due to illness since May 2012. She applied for UIF in july 2012 and got her first payout in February. We resubmitted forms again in April May and June. Every time the forms went missing. I accompanied my mother in july and resubmitted another form. I reported them to the public protectors office bout 3 weeks ago and they phoned to tell me that the money is now available and that my mother should submit her banking details which we did. I phoned them again two weeks ago. They said the UIF form was filled out incorrectly by the doctor. Last week I went back to the doctor. Filled out a new form. Submitted it to department of Labour. They promised me and my mother the money would be in by today. Still no money. I phoned them this morning just after 8 to enquire they took my Cell nr and said they'll get back to me. I'm still waiting. Can u help me please..
