No contact made to let us know that pmnt due

The SABC Tv Licence is quick to send us an sms to say that our account is handed over, but when our tv licence was due no sms reminder was sent to us to say that our tv licence is due and that we need to make a payment, but conveniantly only when the accnt is handed over, then we get an sms, if we had gotten an sms reminder to pay the tv licence we would have surely paid it, it is not that we have not paid it because we didnt want to or could not, it is just that we have forgotten, but it would have been nice to get a reminder sms to notify us, just like how we got an sms today to say the accnt is handed over, now the account has accrued interest of R100, which we must pay extra on top of the tv licence fee, this is the SABC Tv licence's way of making money on their customers by conveniantly only notifying customers of the payment once it is handed over, if they could send us an sms today to notify us that the accnt is handed over, why could they not send us a warning sms before the accnt was handed over to say that if we dont pay it will get handed over, is that not how collections on arrear accnt should work where you try to recover the money before just handing the customers over, pathetic
