Incompetetence to cancel licence

I got married in May 2013 and advised TCV licence that all assets were now consolidated under one TV licence. I was informed to send an affadavit with marraige certificate. I did so on 28 June 2013 via fax. In late September I discovered that my licence had not been cancelled and that my original fax was not received. I was informed to scan in and email to [Email Removed] which I did with proof of my fax on 3 Oct 2013. Today 23 Oct a get a reminder sms of the outstanding licence fees.

Is there anyone in the SABC competent to deal with something so easy to resolve?

Here I am being honest enough and contacting them to resolve this and they can't get it right but for the many people who just don't pay they can't do anything about!!!
