About two weeks ago I received letter FINAL NOTICE TO PAY from the TV Licences regarding payment. That was the first word I got that the TV Licence was outstanding. And this week 26/04/13 I received another letter FINAL REMINDER! The letter says the following: " It has come to our attention that despite several reminders you have still not paid your TV licence." This was now the second letter. There was no phone call or letters in the previous months until the payment was due. I had no idea that the tv licence should have been paid by the 28/02/2013. Now the reason why I did not pay when I received the first letter is because I only get paid at month-end. And I did not get several reminders I got two and by that time it was almost to late. Now I suddenly had to pay a rather large amount that I could have budgeted for. I complaining here about the fact the we as consumers only gets noticed about payments due when the account has to be handed over to an attorney. Why don't the people phone or send emails or letters. And the several reminders that was supposedly sent to me had upset me.
