Since about September 2012 I have received numerous text messages and phone calls regarding from these people saying that I owe SABC for a TV Licence. I am sick and tired of this and have just received another text message today saying that my account has now been handed over to MBD Inc and they will be deducting the money from my bank account.
Last year we were burgled and they took everything and I mean everything, so in August 2012 we cancelled our SABC TV Licence No: 427232764 (which was paid up to date until 31st July 2012) with SABC themselves. When we bought our new TV in March 2013 we immediately got our new TV Licence No: 609876032 (which is also fully paid up).
Someone MUST do something about these unscrupulous people as I note that there are literally hundreds of complaints on Hello Peter about them and yet they are still in business. I do not authorise them or any other company acting on their behalf access to my bank account to take any money out for this so-called "overdue TV Licence".
Come on SABC - do something about this company!!!
