Insurance Premium Deductions by SANRAL

I am MD of a small company which purchased a number of etags for our company vehicles and also for those of some staff. I manage our bank account and noticed that SANRAL has deducted funds from our account on 10 December (two amounts), 12 December (2 amounts), 13 December (1 amount), 17 December 1 amount, and 18 December (1 amount). The total of around R1000 is noted as "Insurance Premium SANRAL".

As our financial personnel are already on leave I called SANRAL to check if these deductions from our account are associated with our etags and how many more we can expect in a single month. After wasting over 10 minutes on the phone being asked for our account numbers etc which I provided, the messaging system eventually gave up and put me through to a customer service agent. I asked the customer service agent if these "insurance premium" deductions were legitimate and was told that they could not give me this information as I was not the named person for the accounts. I wasted about 20 minutes or more and still do not know if the deductions are legitimate and part of our etag contracts or not. The service received was poor and unhelpful.
