Poor Service With Activation

Good day

kindly assist as I have recently taken up a contract and phone was delivered to me on the 27/11/2013, I have activated the sim telephonically and was advised by the agent that it will take 24-48hrs for activation, it is now passed the turn around time and I am totally dissatisfied as I have a new phone which I cannot use and the sim and connection fee was already paid
The service is shocking and terrible "Don't make turnaround time that you cannot keep"
The person who contacts me has to sort this out before close of business
