Utterly terrible service :-(

Getting a parcel from over seas? What a terrible experience it will be getting your package from the South African Post Office Customs department.

One would think that with the high unemployment rate, a government institution like this that takes your money for "taxes" on packages that comes into the country will at least have a working call center with enough staff to handle the phone calls to arrange collection of items, not to mention the taxes they receive for doing little to nothing for.

After numerous attempts to contact the call center and being put on hold for more than 60min, I'm unable to get hold of someone at the Post Office Customs Department.

I'm starting to think that they do not want me to receive my package I've already paid for...

I would appreciate someone from the South African Post Office to contact me so we can arrange for the package to reach me.

Best of luck to all who tries to contact the call center on 0860 111 502, best you attempt to do this when you got all the time in the world to waist trying to get someone to help you.
