I received an SMS from my bank saying R49 Debited from my account.
i dont know these guys, so i traced them. i called 031 301 8932 (their offices) and spoke to Isabella and later to Tony (Manager)
they said i need to contact my bank to get a copy of the recording that i accepted some panic thing (something like a hospital cover) the number that they supplied me with is a number that i had years ago, and she couldnt give me any more details (date when i spoke to them, who the rep was etc) they had no other number for me and only had my ID number and account details...apparently, its against their company policy to give me a copy of the recording. (so i have no rights to it)
i would like to mention that i dont take out anything like this as i have policies in place and have no use for these.
their address (that they gave me) is Suite 201 Salisbury arcade, in Durban (West Street)
when i spoke to tony (the manager) he seemed lost and couldnt fathom how to send me a copy of the recording. on top of that, he became rude when i told him im going to get a lawyer involved and charge them...
i already spoke to my bank about this...
