This morning I went to Baking Bonanza, Bronberrick, Centurion. I handed my Nedbank Gold Cheque card over for payment. The lady then said they do not accept it, seeing it is American Express. I told her that it is linked to American Express, but it is a Cheque Card.
Then a gentleman that was standing there was very rude and said he will never except that card because he refuses to pay that sort of bank charges. He also informed me that nobody overseas will except my card.
I had to inform them that I used this card in UK and Scotland. He was so rude.
Never ever will I do business there again.
