When we moved into a house two years ago we had to pay R8500.00 deposit before we could be connected to Eskom. That is not even using one unit. We have moved out of that house on the 25th of August 2013, have logged numerous calls, and have not yet been refunded. It amazes me how they can demand and refuse to give a service before you do not pay however when they need to refund you then you have to wait months on end with numerous reference numbers and people asking you to send your banking details a couple of times and still they do not refund you. The absolute incompetence is rediculous. I so wish they want to privatice the industry so that the monopoly and the money hogging can learn what a fair competeing industry is like...
