I've been harrassed for the last 4 years about my apparent outstanding TV licence. First I owed them R4500, then R1700, now R1500. I DO HAVE A LICENCE UNDER MY PARTNERS NAME. We had to go and do affidavid's twice which had to be send in with copy's of our I.D's and TV licence to VVM Attorneys and some other attorney. Now we are being harrassed again by another laywer firm for another R1500. We have been together for 13 years and are staying together. I can't for the life of me immagine how people can be in a job earning a salary and not be able to do a simple task like linking our names to the licence and stop mine from going on. If I ever, forbids, leave my partner it is logical that I will get another licence om my name again. But untill then, please show me where it states that one household must have a licence on each person staying in that house. If you can, I will gladly get a second one.
