Kodak
Bullying customer forcing them to buy a product

My name is Magali Richard. I printed some pictures on one of the Kodak automated machine in the shop named above. I ordered a photobook and I got single printed pages instead. The price on the machine was not indicated and the managers, who were too busy to help me when I needed them to use the machine, told me, only once the pictures were printed, that it was 20rands per picture. I had to pay 200rands for a product that was falsely represented and falsely priced by a faulty machine (40rands to pay according to the machine). The shop assistants and managers bullied me, they shouted at me, patted my hand, gave me dirty looks, threatened me of calling the police if I wouldn't pay and basically harassed me and forced me to pay for an unwanted product. I ended up paying but I know that they broke the Consumer Act several times, according to the "unconscionable conduct" section articles 40 and 41. I have sent registered letters asking for a refund but they are still refusing to refund me and apologise for their disgraceful conduct. I am French, and I am utterly shocked of having experienced such a poor and awful customer service. I have never been treated worse in any shop before.
