My wife spilled her coffee over her Lenovo Laptop. We took the machine in to PC Zone informing them it had been damaged by coffee, as such, we expect to have to pay for any repairs, where we went wrong... we forgot to draw pictures when explaining this.
The machine came back to us and we procured another laptop to replace as we were informed that Lenovo do not have a local call center, as such, this will take forever to get repaired, "if" they can repair it. A long story short, I took the machine back to PC Zone requesting they send it off and have it repaired, again, I forgot to draw pictures, as they immediately informed the machine was out of warranty and that I should take it to the PC shop next door as they would be able to assist. I informed PC Zone that I procured the machine through them and that they must address the repairs, this went back and forth until Suvera Premnath threatened to call security, I offered to go and fetch them on her behalf, but nothing came of this. Bottom line, I have had to pay R150.00 for the machine to be sent off, an additional R171.00 for the machine to be assessed and no guarantee the machine will be repaired. Diabolical!!!
