This complaint is not only about bad attitude, but also about incompetence and. It is also not about a single incident, but a situation which occurs time and time again. I post parcels almost daily at the Tramshed post office. The parcels are normally posted between 4:30 and 5:00 pm when most counter clerks are busy cashing up and there are few customers at the post office. Unfortunately I often land at the counter of NONDUMISO MAJUMJUM. This woman clearly shows a attitude towards me as a white person. She also has a terrible attitude generally and simply ignores any questions I ask, never greets me even though I make a point of being friendly with her and is totally incompetent. Even though she must handle a lot of parcels she is unable to process them. When I hand in econoparcels she always charges me for ordinary parcels (a difference of R14 per parcel). She uses a tape measure which has 2 cm missing at the beginning and refuses to change it even though I have told her a dozen times that she overcharges everybody. She always has a long face and closes her counter when she sees that there is somebody in front of a queue with several postal items that she must serve.
