Received absolutely revolting and downright disgusting service from Odette. Student Loan Account with Standard Bank handed over to SBM Attorneys. First incident Odette called to ask why I had not made a payment, I responded telling her the amount I can afford at the moment as I will be settling the entire amount soon, she refused this amount saying it doesn't make a difference, i then asked her to send me an email confirming her refusal of my payment so i could take it further. To which she hung up. I then sent her an SMS stating how unnecessary it was for her to be rude and remind her to send me that email, she didn't. Second incident, she called me again and i referred her to my surety (Mother) to whom she gave the same attitude and hung up the phone mid-conversation. It has become apparent that Odette is inclined to such behaviour (from previous reports) and that she has probably been treating many other clients like 'No Good, Poor people' who all have the same excuse. Well Odette, I will settle the account and encourage my surety to close all other accounts with Standard Bank as they chose a firm that uses degradation as a means of debt collection..
