My husband and I approached Rudi Le Roux from Debt Champions in the beginning of the year to apply for sequestration. He advised us it will be R5000 for my husband and R5000 for myself and this fee included everything up to the day the order is granted.
I have since cancelled my application and the attorneys are now charging me over R9000 for work done to date!! The attorneys reduced their account to R5000, but now they are expecting the money from me, as they have nothing to do with the money I paid to Debt Champions. Rudi Le Roux very clearly stipulated that the R5000 we pay him cover everything to the date the order is granted. He is a major and a, he takes R5000 for himself and happily sends the file to the attorneys where we run up an account of our own.
