Well there is a good reason why attorneys and lawyers have the reputation they do have. I must admit, with the exemption of a few.
MBD charged me R1350 (and requested a further R90) to collect less that R1300 in less than a year. I asked what the interest was, and the lady said there is no interest involved or charged. I have requested a detailed statement/invoice for their fees 3 times in 3 weeks and have not received it yet, and doubt that I will. when the lady phoned me to pay the last R90, I requested the statement, and when I didn't receive the statement and phoned them again, the account was all of the sudden closed. I believe it was closed because I made mention of all the money I have paid on fees to them. I have requested to speak to management but they are not available, ever.
MBD have given me no other reason to believe that are first of all a company that are absolutely useless in the customer service department. They have given me no other reason to believe that are charging ridiculous fees, and I am not sure if these fees are legal. I am taking this matter further in the future if this is the case.
