I had an Edgars account that was handed over to MBD for good reason. Now these guys have been doing nothing but absolutely money from me. I agreed some 5 months back to settle this account at 475 per month for the next few months until the account was paid up. However I have been 600 per month, these guys are charging exorbitant interest rates and legal fees. When I ask what the legal fees are for, they tell me that these are charged when they call me, but in the last 6 months they have not called me, I have been making my payments well ahead of time. As of the 2nd July breakdown of charges I was given CAPITAL 2517.97, interest 571.07, legal 702.36 with 392 to settle. When I paid in the last 392.00 on the 24th of July I discovered that they have charged an extra 82.00 in 22 days is it now 473.00 to settle. They are seemingly unable to explain that 82.00 saying they called me, with the one lady saying they will charge me 22.00 for a call that I make to them and that its my fault for paying using EFT on an earlier date than agreed.
