I religiously pay my monthly installment as agreed, and have been doing so for the past few years.
However, this Company, in order to make more money to bolster their already filled pockets, deem it necessary to call you to find out if you are making a payment at the end of the month. When questioned as to why they are calling if they can see from the history of the account that payments are regular, the answer is they need to know what date you will be paying. And for this service, you are charged R15 plus vat for their phone call. If they are unable to find out due to the fact that you moved or got a new cell phone etc, they hunt you down via your relatives, and charge you for all the phone calls.
Enquire why they need to speak to you if you are paying as per your agreement, the answer "we are allowed to"
Request a statement of your account to see just how many phone calls have been added to your account even if they did not actually speak to you, you get told that they will be charging you for the email as well. Guess I should have started a debt collection business because this is the easiest way to make money for actually doing nothing and YOU ARE ALLOWED TO!!!
