Free vouchers disappointment

The allocated free voucher are as good as nothing. Have been trying to book a holiday for September and am told that for the dates I have selected, hotels are fully booked for vouchers however I can pay full price and get accommodation. Or I must change my dates to October; how do I go on a 6 day holiday in October when kids are at school? This is booking 5 months in advance. I tried to use the 3 stay one night get one night free for 3 consecutive stays at a hotel. I was told I can't do that. That was not communicated to me before buying just like it was not communicated that they have VERY limited rooms for the use of vouchers.
This has been a HUGE disappointment. All the hype created around the product when sold, seems to be all a big and is causing me much stress instead of pleasure in booking a holiday. The consultants that sell the product clearly keep information that you disappointingly get when booking. And all you will get is "I'm sorry mam, there is nothing we can do". When the product is sold you get "we will do everything in our power to get you what you want". That says a lot about the power that the consultants have. I am so disappointed.
