After a 7 hour journey with children, the desk at reception remained unmanned until their 3pm book in time. There was nobody in the office to even answer the phone. The manager arrived, without greeting us and was suprised that a "gold crown" resort doesn't have an effort made, like a drink of juice etc after a long journey with 45min to the closest town. There is a protea hotel, having renovations next door. Their public bathrooms were out of order a bathroom was avali able down the property, without handsoap. What a dismal reception for a long awaited holiday, leaves a sour taste and makes for an unpleasant start to ones holiday.
