Since Feb 2013 I am trying to get my Dad (65 years old) to be moved into PMB which is available on his current medical aid plan with Momentum Health. My Dad is a stroke patient & needs to be on the PMB. While waiting for this to happen-Momentum has used up the funds in his MSA leaving him with no medical funds to be treated. Momentum has requested a letter from the specialist-which was submitted. Now Momentum requires a detailed report in order to proceed with this request. Note that My Dad has been hospitalised & treated for the Stroke he suffered, he has also been to a rehab facility as part of the recovery process-all of which is captured on Momentum's records, yet they still require proof to add my Dad to PMB which is offered as a benefit on his medical plan. I called them to follow up-they acknowledged receipt of the letter & informed me that it will take a week to load on the system - this was at the beginning of March 2013.Now they claim that they cannot process the request, surely the records on the system as well as the doctor's letter is sufficient. I've requested a breakdown of info required via mail-no response. Resubmitted. Well Done-you really care for you
