On Sunday i went to the Union hospital was seen in Casualty, has an X-ray done, i received an sms from the x-ray departement that the claim was rejected by the medicail aid, i called the medical aid and was told the tarrif was not covered, it was on a sunday how was i suppose to know the medical aid doesnt cover that codes??? If its an emeregency and its a Sunday where to i call the medical aid to confirm what they cover and what not??? I feel this is tolally infare where i should pay a bill of R716.40 for something i wasnt aware off... If it was during the week i would undrstand the medical aid refuses to pay but not on a sunday... one other thing i found out @ the hospital is that my medical aid card should have been changed which i wasnt aware offf... I need this bill to be paid as this is the medial aids fault and not mine, i called and was told tarrif codes was sent out, if i havent received the new card where would i have received the tarrif codes...
