About 4 months after joining Bonitas bad luck struck and my fiancee was admitted to hospital for emergency surgery involving internal organs. X-Rays, Cat scan, Surgery and the hospital stay cost in the region of R50000. Bonitas covered every cent.
We are on a lower end plan (as we are still young) but you still get full medical aid benefits where the
best other medical aids can offer for the same price is only a hospital plan.
Bonitas also seems to add more benefits each year where other medical aids cut benefits or excludes
certain procedures. (I know this because 5 of my friends are each covered by a different supplier.)
