I submitted two claims in the last 3 weeks for an eye test as well as new spectacles. The last one was submitted last Tuesday. I submitted it timely as I was fairly shocked to hear that Momentum only pays claims every 2 weeks which, in itself is poor.
I spoke to Randwir Roopnarain who was incredibly unhelpful as he just passed the buck saying that I should have gone to a supplier that is contracted with Mom Health and I will no have to wait until the next payment cycle before I the money will be paid out which will only be on the 12th of next month. My question to Momentum is if they think it is acceptable that a client who submits timeously must wait a month for payment. To me it is ridiculous and meanwhile I am out of pocket by a couple of thousand.
