Professor Deepak Modi at the Brenthurst Clinic in Johannesburg treated me with no respect or care. I mentioned 3 other dermatologists that treated me with other medications and he took great offence to what i said. I informed him of medications that i have taken and his reply to me was that he cant help me as i have a chronic problem, which is why i went to him for help in the first place. He dealt with me in a very arrogant way and told me that this is the last consult with me!! He insisted he wanted a cash payment when he charges other clients medical aid rates. I have never experienced service like this in my life. Doctors like him put his profession to shame. He is an egotistical temperamental professor. My mother phoned him to find out what was the reason he treated me with such disrespect and he put the phone down on my mother stating that he didn't want to discuss the topic further.
