I arrived at the Lancet labs at the Medforum hospital after consulting with the Specialist who requested bloods. There I was helped by Nurse Gwen Roux. My husband queried if I need to be fasting and she had a look at the bloods requested but didn't answer. Then she called me through and asked me the general questions- she then looked upset and her words were "Oh Gids" with the computer or me I am not sure. She then called me through to the rooms where she sat me down and very vigorously strapped my upper arm. She began drawing bloods. Then she was extremely upset when she couldnt get more blood out of me on the 5 of 7 vials. I always look away because I am terrifed of needles and I said that and she replied "Oh so I can look away too then". Then she got done with the 7 vials and placed a cotton wool very hard on my arm. I then after being treated so badly said "Thank You" and this was her response" Oh it was certainly not a pleasure, I wish i could say it was. But, this was very hard work" Please note no smile on her face. My arm is still bruised badly and I was in so much of pain that I could not even put a jacket on myself. I am still traumatised that I wake up till today scared
